Namse Bangdzo Bookstore

 

Namse Bangdzo is the Bookstore of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, the North American Seat of Gyalwang Karmapa, offering a wide selection on Buddhist books, fine Tibetan Buddhist art (statues and thangkas), and Dharma practice materials, including the entire catalog of KTD Publications.

Namse Bangdzo Bookstore began about 30 years ago as a small shop in the new KTD Dharma center in the old white house. The name derives from Namse, referring to Namtose, guardian of the north and god of wealth and Bangdzo, meaning treasure house. And indeed it has grown into its name becoming the largest international Karma Kagyu bookstore serving students and teachers across the globe. All profits from the bookstore go to support KTD and the Gyalwang Karmapa’s projects and activities.
